On 16 November 2025, the Kumamoto Masters Japan 2025 badminton tournament, a World Tour Super 500 event with a total prize pool of $475,000 USD (about 15,437,500 baht), was held in Kumamoto, Japan.
In the mixed doubles final, "Bas" Dechapol Puavaranukroh and "Fem" Supissara Paewsampran, the number 1 seeds in the tournament and ranked number 3 in the world, as well as last year's champions, faced Tom Chikel and Delphine Delrue from France, the number 2 seeds and ranked number 5 worldwide.
