Bank from the Clash band disputes Coach Sakol of Mon Thong Wittaya football team's incorrect timeline, revealing the truth that he failed to impress girls while playing football.
On 10 Nov 2025 GMT+7, Coach Sakol Kliangprasert of Mon Thong Wittaya football team praised Bank from Clash, or Preeti Baramianan, the famous singer of the top-tier Thai band Clash, saying that during school he was good at football but got distracted by the beauty of a senior girl, which led him away from football before becoming famous in music.
Coach Sakol Kliangprasert stated on think curve, “Actually, Bank (from Clash) was a good footballer, but he got a bit distracted (laughs) by girls, admiring the beauty of a senior. Then he left the team. Eventually, our paths diverged, and he focused on music. Whenever I went to the school entrance, I saw him with a guitar and girls following him (smiles). I continued as a football coach. After that, we never met again, and he became famous.”
Most recently,Bank from Clashcorrected the record on the "Open Up with Phakphoom" show on Thairath TV channel 32, confirming he was indeed interested in the beauty of a senior girl but only after leaving the football team.
Bank said, “The coach said I left the football team because I was interested in girls, which is true. But the timeline is wrong because in grade 9 I had no ability to attract anyone—I was always training. My neck was black like asphalt, so I had neither looks nor the chance to woo anyone. It was after the summer break before grade 10 that things started, after I had left the football team.”
