This fight featured a dramatic moment when Kongtoranee was counted down in the second round. Later, Aslambekjon was hit by a right hook that should have led to a count, but the lower referee did not issue it, denying Kongtoranee the chance to press his attack again, ultimately resulting in a points loss.
