Roy Keane: Liverpool in Crisis, Out of Premier League Title Race

Roy Keane, Manchester United legend, points out that Liverpool is in crisis and confidently declares their Premier League title hopes over.

On 10 Nov 2025 GMT+7, Roy Keane, the Manchester United legend, declared Liverpool “too weak” and out of the Premier League title race after Manchester City thrashed them 3-0 in Sunday’s Premier League match, stating clearly that the “Reds” are in a crisis.

Keane told Sky Sports, “You can’t talk about Liverpool as title contenders. This was a painful defeat, but what I saw was City as usual. They’re absolutely brilliant and back in the title race.”

“This is a crisis period for Liverpool. It's okay to lose to a team like Manchester City since that game is always tough, but losing 7 out of 10 games, including 5 league matches, for a club like Liverpool, this has to be called a crisis.”

“I think Liverpool looked very weak today. The manager said he was satisfied with the second half, but the game was already over! It’s easy to look good when you no longer have anything to play for.”

“I agree with Klopp’s analysis that City look stronger both technically and physically. Liverpool had some good moments because they have quality, but the goals conceded and decisions during the game were too poor. They lacked aggression and energy. The substitutes came on without impact and looked too soft. I believe this is truly a crisis period for Liverpool.”
