On 12 Feb 2026 GMT+7, reporters reported that from 16 to 25 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation, led by Chairman Mr. Wichian Techapaiboon, invites people to pay respects to Luang Pu Tai Hong for blessings during the 2026 Chinese New Year festival. Participants can register to chant the auspicious mantra, or Pha Keng, for good fortune throughout the year. This grand sacred ceremony occurs only once annually. Everyone is welcome to make merit by donating 20 baht per Pha Keng according to their wishes, which include blessings for family happiness (Kaemung Keng), averting misfortune (Por Oong Keng), enhancing luck and wealth (Kiu Chai Keng), strengthening destiny (Suay Kung Keng), and promoting stability and longevity (Kueng Ki Keng). Additionally, merit can be made for averting misfortune and enhancing blessings with statues of the zodiac animal for the Year of the Horse, along with consuming auspicious sago desserts for harmony and well-being. The event features the invitation of Luang Pu Tai Hong’s red talismans (Yant) to place on houses, residences, or carry for protection, and the ringing of the golden bell to bring brightness, prosperity, and widespread success. Attendees can join a sacred incense procession to pray to the sky and earth deities on the birthday celebration (Tee Kong Sa), which this year falls on Tuesday, 24 Feb 2026 GMT+7. Participants seek refuge in the powers of heaven and earth and ask sacred beings, such as Luang Pu Tai Hong, to grant good fortune throughout the new year. On 16 and 24 Feb 2026 GMT+7, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation will hold overnight services.
