
The Royal Thai Police Election Security Center revealed 151 election-related cases in 2026, ranging from destruction of campaign signs and vote-buying to ballot tearing. They noted only nine cases involved vote-buying and vote-selling, while the People's Party experienced the most damage to their campaign signs. Investigations are being expedited to expand the inquiries.
On 9 Feb 2026, the Election Security and Public Order Command Center of the Royal Thai Police disclosed statistics on cases related to the 2026 House of Representatives election, covering the period from 26 Dec 2025 to 5 Feb 2026.
It was found that offenses included a variety of charges such as destruction of campaign signs, intimidation, complaints to the Election Commission, public insult, false accusations, theft allegations, sale of beverages, solicitation of vote-buying and vote-selling, theft, defamation, and additional complaints to the Election Commission.
