The Eastern Forces, through the Aranyaprathet Task Force, arrested “Je Lad,” the former wife of Kamnan Lee, after suspicious behavior suggested she was an informant for Cambodian authorities.
On the morning of 11 Dec 2025 GMT+7, reporters learned that the Aranyaprathet Task Force under the Eastern Forces conducted a proactive operation to detain “Je Lad,” or Mrs. Thongladkanha, the former wife of Kamnan Lee, in Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province. She was suspected of secretly passing information about Thai movements to Cambodian authorities during ongoing tense border conditions.
Officials conducted a search and seized a mobile phone believed to be the main device used to transmit information. The device will be handed over to security agencies for in-depth data analysis and to examine evidence of contacts potentially linked to foreign networks.
Reports stated that during the arrest, Je Lad did not resist and was immediately taken for interrogation by security agencies. Initial investigations are ongoing to determine her motives, associated networks, and any damage caused to Thailand’s security.
