The Eastern Forces, through the Aranyaprathet Task Force, arrested "Je Lad," the former wife of Kamnan Lee, after discovering suspicious behavior indicating she may have been an informant for Cambodian authorities.
On the morning of 11 December 2025, reporters were informed that the Aranyaprathet Task Force, part of the Eastern Forces, conducted a proactive operation to detain "Je Lad," also known as Mrs. Thonglad Kanha, Kamnan Lee's ex-wife, in Khok Sung District, Sa Kaeo Province. The arrest followed intelligence that she was suspected of secretly transmitting information about Thai activities to Cambodian authorities amid ongoing border tensions.
Officials searched and confiscated her mobile phone, believed to be the primary device used to send information. The device will be handed over to security agencies for in-depth data analysis, including evidence of contacts potentially linked to foreign networks.
Reports state that during the arrest, Je Lad did not resist and was immediately taken for interrogation by security agencies. Initial investigations are focusing on her motivations, associated networks, and potential damage to Thailand's national security.
