Supakorn Rattanawaraha, Senior Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Thailand, explained that the development concept arose from Toyota's understanding of the increasing demand for premium vans. To win the hearts of customers and meet their needs, this new van was developed.
The main goal is to create a vehicle that offers both comfort and luxury, with the following customer benefits:
1. A luxurious design that stands out with a modern style while maintaining an elegant image.
2. Passenger comfort, designed to meet the expectations of a premium vehicle,
both front and rear, focusing on comfort. The seating layout is 2-3-2-4 to serve both executive and family customer groups.
Additionally, the front-engine layout with a ring frame structure and rear 4-link coil spring suspension contributes to a quiet cabin. Powered by a GD 2.8 engine meeting Euro 5 standards and compatible with B20 diesel fuel, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, it offers easy driving.
3. Travel security and peace of mind with comprehensive safety features including nine airbags, blind spot monitoring via side mirrors, rear cross-traffic alert, and a 360-degree camera system.
The Grande variant further includes the Toyota Safety Sense system.
4. Added convenience features such as an 8-inch touchscreen supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic sliding doors, smart key start, seven USB ports, sunshades, and reading lights to enhance relaxation.
