Lucky Lao Woman Wins First Prize Lottery, Generously Gives Employer with Bedridden Condition 2 Million Baht as Promised

A lucky Lao woman won the first prize lottery and kindly gave her bedridden employer 2 million baht as promised. She plans to use the money to pay off debts and continue taking care of her employer.

On the evening of 1 Nov 2025 GMT+7, a reporter visited a house in Don Chim Phli Subdistrict, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, which belongs to Mr. Wasurat. It was reported that the caregiver for the bedridden patient in that house had won two first prize lottery tickets, number 345898, in the 1 Nov 2025 GMT+7 draw. The lucky winner is Ms. Lamphorn Chaiyarach, also known as Khun Nang, age 47, who is the caregiver of the bedridden patient, the sister of Mr. Wasurat.

Ms. Lamphorn revealed that she has worked in Thailand for over 20 years but had only recently started working at this house. Thanks to the kindness of her employer, she got to take care of and talk with Khun Dao, the employer's sister who is bedridden. During their conversations, she learned that the employer woman was born on the same day, month, and year as herself, which made her believe fate brought her to this employer. She takes care of the employer by bathing her, feeding her, and attending to all her needs.

She had confided in the employer that she had debts of just over one million baht on a house and car in her home country. She had been working hard to save money to repay these debts. She also told her employer that if she ever won the first prize lottery, she would give her employer 2 million baht, because without her employer's kindness she might not have found work in this house during her difficult times.

This morning, she went out to buy lottery tickets with the last three digits 097. When talking with her employer, she learned that the employer had dreamed of the number 790, so she intended to buy that number for her employer as well. But when she arrived at a lottery stall in Khlong 16 Market, Bang Nam Priao District, Chachoengsao Province, the number 790 was no longer available, only the tickets numbered 345898 remained. She bought two of those and took them home, storing them in her bedroom. She then went outside to clean the spirit house in front of the house, following her employer's instruction.

After cleaning, she lit incense and prayed at the spirit house, saying she was troubled by debts, about to lose her home, and asked the spirit to help make the front and back numbers of the first prize match the lottery she had bought. In the afternoon as the lottery was being drawn, she was feeding her employer when she remembered the numbers she had purchased. She checked her phone and realized she had won the first prize lottery. Overjoyed, she jumped up and screamed with excitement to her employer.

After cashing the prize, she will give her employer the promised 2 million baht. She plans to return to her homeland in Laos, use the money to clear all debts, save some for merit-making, and keep some for old age. She will continue caring for her bedridden employer going forward.
