Apples 2026 Roadmap Hints at Launch of iPhone 17e and Foldable iPhone

Apple’s new product launches next year may include the most affordable iPhone yet, the iPhone 17e, alongside a flagship new foldable iPhone.

According to the latest report from Mark Gurman’s Power On newsletter at Bloomberg, Apple is planning a major product rollout next year to celebrate the company’s 50th anniversary.

In the first quarter of 2026, Apple is expected to update its product lineup with the budget iPhone 17e, entry-level iPad featuring the Apple A18 chip, the iPad Air with the M4 chip, and refreshes to its Mac computer line.

Additionally, between March and April 2026, Apple may release a new Siri enhanced with full AI capabilities, customized from Google’s Gemini, along with home products like smart speakers with displays or wall-mounted smart displays to advance its smart home ecosystem.

September 2026 is set as the timeframe for unveiling the iPhone 18, iPhone 18 Pro, and new Apple Watch models.

Meanwhile, the foldable iPhone is also expected to debut around the same time, if plans proceed as scheduled, with potential to see spin-off products from Apple Vision Pro, such as Apple Glasses.

Beyond the early-year updates to the entry-level iPad and iPad Air, there are plans for a new iPad mini with an OLED display expected in 2026, while the next major iPad Pro refresh might not come until 2027.

In summary, Apple’s 2026 roadmap shows a comprehensive lineup refresh across all product lines, though plans remain subject to change.
