The impact of screen addiction in children is an issue that should not be overlooked because reducing children's screen time can promote their development.
With Children’s Day approaching, let's come together to support quality living for children. One unavoidable problem for today’s children is "screen addiction behavior."
Certainly, modern children grow up immersed in technology, which is hard for them to avoid. Technology is a double-edged sword—it's essential for children's learning and development, but inappropriate usage can affect their emotions, mental health, and behavior, potentially hindering age-appropriate growth.

Psychosocial aspects
Due to these impacts, the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (สสส.) has begun campaigns encouraging children to reduce screen time through diverse learning and play activities to support healthy age-appropriate development.
To help children reduce screen time, parents can serve as good role models by demonstrating positive behaviors, setting appropriate time limits and boundaries, and discussing the benefits and harms of screen use. This approach fosters understanding and learning, leading to better behavior and improved development.
