"In 'Khang Kha,' there's a line that actually happened in real life. I received a call once where someone asked me, ‘Can you live without me?’ Believe it or not, I didn’t respond at all, because in the end, it wasn’t a question—it was a farewell.
That’s why the line goes, 'Do you still remember when you asked, how will you live if I’m not there?' But I didn’t answer because what was said wasn’t a question but a goodbye. It was a relationship that had ended. I understand all the reasons behind the separation; some things are beyond our control, no matter how it ends.
In the end, what cannot be stopped is the feeling of missing someone. That longing brings many questions that remain unresolved in the heart. Do they still miss me? Are they still watching over me and what I’m doing, the dreams I’m pursuing?
