Miss Grand International Public Company Limited (MGI) has made history by officially acquiring the rights to organize the 74th Miss Universe pageant. This event will be held in Thailand under the concept The Grand Universe: The Power of Love. The Power of Thailand. This marks the fourth time in history that Thailand has been honored as the host country for the Miss Universe pageant.
MGI aims to set a new world-class standard for the pageant, showcasing the power of beauty, love, and Thailand’s unique and beautiful culture to a global audience.
The press conference opened grandly at MGI Hall on the 6th floor of Bravo Bkk shopping center on Rama 9, buzzing with enthusiastic pageant fans from around the world, as well as Thai and international media. Ploy Amondean Glassett, 3rd runner-up Miss Universe Thailand 2025, served as the host.
The stage featured a spectacular performance by KT KRATAE, presenting Thai identity through Khon dance, traditional music, and Muay Thai, accompanied by special guest Buakaw Banchamek. They fused contemporary rhythms in the English-lyric song “Bangkok City,” expressing Thai power globally with a powerful and stirring impact, earning abundant praise from attendees.
Next was the reveal of the 120 contestants of Miss Universe 2025, all elegantly dressed in luxurious evening gowns, followed by the appearance of Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, the reigning Miss Universe 2024, who attended the event, leaving a strong impression on all pageant fans.
Mr. Nawat Itsaragrisil, CEO of Miss Grand International Public Company Limited, Vice President of Miss Universe Asia, and Chair of the Organizing Committee for the 74th Miss Universe in Thailand, welcomed the contestants and distinguished guests. He confirmed Thailand's readiness to host this global event, saying:
“Thailand will not only be the host but a stage that reflects the power of love, beauty, and cultural identity to the world. We will make the 74th Miss Universe a pageant the world will remember, with investments already exceeding 100 million baht.”
The 74th Miss Universe 2025 pageant is scheduled from today until 21 November 2025, with main activities spread across three key cities: Bangkok, Phuket, and Pattaya in Chonburi province. The event promotes tourism, the creative economy, and Thailand’s image on the global stage. The final competition will be held on the evening of 21 November 2025 at IMPACT Challenger Hall 2, Muang Thong Thani.
